When checking in for a NextJet flight, all passengers must be able to show a valid passport or a Government approved identification document (with a photograph). Passengers must, whenever required during the journey, be able to prove their identity. Passengers lacking such documents will be refused an onward journey.
Regulations concerning the identification of passengers below 18 years of age are in accordance with NextJet’s ID policy. All passengers must be able to prove their identity by producing a valid ID document upon request at check-in or boarding. Parents or guardians can prove the identity of their children if they are below 18 years of age.
In the case of children who are travelling alone (children below 12 years of age) who lack their own passports or ID documents, the parent or guardian must be able to produce an ID document.
After his/her 12th birthday a child may travel alone. However, the child is not allowed to act as adult company for a younger child until he/she is 16 years of age and to do this a valid ID document is required.
NextJet
reserves the right to refuse a passenger, who is unable to prove his/her
identity, an onward journey without compensation.
