CHECK-IN

The check-in for domestic flights closes 30 minutes before the ordinary time of departure.The check-in for international flights closes 45 minutes before scheduled time of departure.If you arrive at check-in after closing time your ticket is considered as flown and invalid. NextJet will not refund the ticket and it is not possible to re-book to another flight.

NextJet only issues electronic tickets. In order to travel you need your booking reference and a valid ID document (such as your driving licence, passport or a SIS marked ID card). Make sure to check documentation rules with your destination airport.

Children accompanied by an adult above the age of 16, who can show a valid ID, are not required to show ID when flying with NextJet. If this is not fulfilled by the adult passenger, check-in will not be allowed. In this case, the actual ticket/tickets will be not be refunded.

Children up to 2 years of age are considered to be infants. One infant is allowed to travel in the adult’s knee. In this case, the child has no personal luggage allowance, either checked in or hand luggage. Passengers travelling alone with two children under two years of age must book a seat for one of the children. The other child is then entitled to the same luggage allowance, hold and hand luggage, as an adult. The second child (travelling with a single adult) must sit in a car safety-seat which must not exceed 42 cm wide and 65 cm deep. The car safety-seat must be EU approved. In addition to the above cases, car safety-seats are not allowed in the cabin but must be checked in. Prams must be checked in.

Due to medical reasons, infants below 10 days of age are not allowed on board.

A passenger is entitled to carry 20 kg luggage in the aircraft hold. A charge will be made at check-in in case of excess weight. NextJet will not accept responsibility for poor packing, easily damaged (e.g. in-checked computers and similar things) fragile and damaged luggage, jewellery, keys and other kinds of valuable things. Scratches on luggage, normal wear or for water damage on luggage which is not watertight will not be compensated for by NextJet. Medicine and toilet requisites in limited quantities e.g. hairspray, perfume which are necessary or appropriate for the passenger’s need during the journey may be included in the luggage.

DELAYS

When delays occur follow NextJet’s EU regulations EU261/2004. These regulations are accessible on http://eur-lex.europa.eu

When delays exceed 2 hours the following applies:

• Meal voucher (obtained from airport staff, max. 150 SEK).
  
• Possibility to make two telephone calls.
  
• Possibility to send two e-mails, fax or telex.
  
• Overnight hotel accommodation in the cases when passengers are not in their home district and only when the flight could not be made during the actual day.

NextJet will not take responsibility for lost hotel-nights, missed connecting flights with other carriers, lost working hours, the cost of car hire, journeys by taxi or other responsibility affecting a third party in the cases where the customer has separate travel documents. Journeys booked and paid for by NextJet’s special travel vouchers are exempt from these conditions.

CANCELLED DEPARTURES

• Meal voucher (obtained from the station personnel, max.150 SEK).
  
• Possibility to make two telephone calls.
  
• Possibility to send two e-mails, fax or telex.
  
• Overnight hotel accommodation in the cases where passengers are not in their home district and only when the flights could not be made during the actual day.
